Description

The GW Instek MFG-2000 series is a multi-channel function generator designed to meet diverse signal generation requirements for education, R&D, and industrial applications. The series includes MFG-21XX entry-level models and MFG-22XX advanced models, offering flexible configurations from single-channel to multi-channel output.

The MFG-2000 series supports multiple output channels, including arbitrary function generator (AFG), RF signal generator, pulse generator, and power amplifier, with up to five simultaneous outputs depending on the model. This allows users to generate and combine different types of signals within a single instrument, improving efficiency and reducing the need for multiple devices.

The AFG channel provides standard waveforms such as sine, square, and triangle, along with arbitrary waveform capability. Selected models support various modulation functions, sweep, burst, trigger, and frequency counter features. Dual-channel models offer synchronized operation with functions such as coupling, delay, and sum, enabling more advanced signal analysis and generation.

In addition, the built-in RF signal generator supports a wide range of modulation methods, while the pulse generator allows adjustable pulse parameters for trigger and timing applications. Some models also include an integrated power amplifier suitable for audio range applications, providing greater flexibility for different testing requirements.
