Description

The GW Instek AFG-4000 series arbitrary function generators are designed to meet diverse signal generation requirements for education, R&D, and industrial testing applications. The series features frequency bandwidth selections ranging from 25MHz to 250MHz and is GW Instek’s first arbitrary function generator series equipped with an 8-inch large touch screen for more intuitive operation.

The AFG-4000 series provides multiple built-in standard waveforms, arbitrary waveform editing capability, and high-resolution output performance for flexible signal generation. Depending on the model, the series supports different sample rates, memory depths, and vertical resolutions to accommodate both entry-level and advanced testing requirements.

Dual-channel models provide functions such as frequency coupling, amplitude coupling, and tracking to simplify synchronized signal output. The series also supports various modulation modes, sweep, burst, and counter functions for broader application flexibility. Selected models additionally include a built-in power amplifier suitable for audio signal applications.

The large TFT LCD and touch screen interface allow users to conveniently input and adjust parameters directly from the display, improving overall usability and operation efficiency. In addition, the AFG-4000 series supports USB interfaces, while higher bandwidth models also include LAN connectivity for remote control and integration.
